OVERVIEW

Varanasi, situated in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, traces its origins back to the 11th century B.C. Known as India’s spiritual hub, it attracts Hindu devotees who come to bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges River and conduct funeral ceremonies. The city’s narrow, winding lanes are home to approximately 2,000 temples, including the renowned Kashi Vishwanath, or “Golden Temple,” dedicated to Lord Shiva, a major deity in Hinduism.
Ayodhya, a city in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya district, is believed to be the ancient city of the same name, celebrated as the birthplace of Lord Rama and the backdrop of the epic Ramayana.
Lucknow, a prominent city in northern India, serves as the capital of Uttar Pradesh. At its heart stands the Rumi Darwaza, a grand Mughal gateway. Nearby, the 18th-century Bara Imambara, a significant shrine, features a vast arched hall. Above it, the Bhool Bhulaiya, a labyrinth of tight passages, offers panoramic views of the city from its upper levels. Adjacent to it, the impressive Victorian-era Husainabad Clock Tower, constructed in 1881, was erected as a symbol of triumph.

Detailed Day-by-Day Travel Plan  

Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi
Reach Varanasi via railway station or airport and check into your hotel. In the evening, head to Ganga Ghat to experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat. Spend the night at the hotel.  
Day 2: Exploring Varanasi
Begin your day with a serene sunrise boat ride on the Ganges, followed by a visit to the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and other nearby shrines. After breakfast, embark on a half-day temple tour, covering Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, and the new Vishwanath Temple. Later, explore Sarnath, a key Buddhist site. Overnight stay at the hotel.  
Day 3: Varanasi to Prayagraj
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Prayagraj. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the day touring Prayagraj, visiting sacred spots like Triveni Sangam, Mahavir Temple, Anand Bhavan, and more. Rest overnight at the hotel.  
Day 4: Prayagraj to Ayodhya
After breakfast, journey to Ayodhya. Check into your hotel upon arrival. Later, explore significant sites such as Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Kanak Bhawan, Karsevakpuram, Tulsi Smarak, Hanuman Garhi, and the banks of the Saryu River. Stay overnight at the hotel.  
Day 5: Ayodhya to Naimisharanya & Lucknow
Post-breakfast, drive to Naimisharanya. Tour sacred places like Tirth Chakra, Hanuman Gaddi, Vyas Gaddi, and Lalita Devi Temple. Afterward, proceed to Lucknow for an overnight stay.  
Day 6: Lucknow to Agra
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Lucknow, visiting landmarks like Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara, and Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden. In the evening, transfer to Agra and check into your hotel.  
Day 7: Agra Exploration & Departure
Savor breakfast, then check out from the hotel. Embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra, marveling at the iconic Taj Mahal and exploring the majestic Agra Fort. Afterward, transfer to Agra Railway Station or Airport for your departure.
