Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu [Altitude: 1,400m/4,595ft]
Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, a friendly representative from our team will welcome you and escort you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time, unwind at the hotel or take a leisurely stroll to explore the bustling streets of Thamel.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Chitwan [Altitude: 415m/1,361ft]
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic 175 km drive (6-7 hours) to Chitwan, winding through lush valleys and alongside the Trishuli and Narayani rivers. Upon arrival, settle into your resort and meet the naturalist guides who will outline the day’s activities. In the late afternoon, enjoy a thrilling safari (elephant or jeep) through Chitwan National Park’s forests and grasslands, spotting wildlife like deer, rhinos, or even tigers. Later, experience a vibrant Tharu cultural dance or an informative slideshow. End the day with a delicious dinner and the soothing sounds of the jungle.

En route, stop at the sacred Manakamana Temple, accessible via cable car (ticket: INR 600 per person, self-paid). In Pokhara, spend the evening exploring the vibrant Lakeside area near Phewa Lake.

Day 4: Pokhara Exploration
Rise early for a short drive to Sarangkot (1,700m/5,577ft) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks. After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour, including:

  • Boating to Tal Barahi Temple on Phewa Lake (boat hire self-paid)
  • Visits to Bindabasini Temple, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and Seti River Gorge
    In the afternoon, visit the serene Pumdikot Shiva Temple. Evening free to stroll around Lakeside.

Day 6: Kathmandu Sightseeing

General Information

Tipping
Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated in Nepal. A suggested tip is INR 300 per day per traveler for the driver and guide if they accompany you throughout the trip. For restaurant meals, a 10% tip on the bill is customary.

Visa Requirements for Indian Citizens
No visa is required for Indian citizens traveling to Nepal. Acceptable identification includes:

  • Valid Indian passport
  • Government-issued photo ID or Election ID card
  • Emergency or Identity Certificate from the Embassy of India, Kathmandu
  • For travelers above 65 or below 15 years, documents like PAN card, driving license, or ration card with a photo are sufficient.
  • Children aged 15-18 may use a school-issued identity certificate.
  • For families traveling together, one adult with a valid ID (as listed above) is sufficient, provided other members carry photo IDs proving family relation (e.g., ration card, school ID).

Booking Conditions

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance payable upon arrival in Kathmandu.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or online (details provided upon booking).

Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before tour start: 20% cancellation fee
  • 15-29 days before tour start: 30% cancellation fee
  • 7-14 days before tour start: 60% cancellation fee
  • 6 days or less/no-show: 90% cancellation fee
